Hello Hello

Luc, I am so glad you have been playing Scrabble. When I saw your pictures with the travel Scrabble, I figured you were just being nice about our gift. We used to play all the time. The key is to not go for the huge words. I even beat Dill's Mom, an English teacher, because she was always trying to go for the complex words. All is well here. Dill is in NY for a few days so the kids and I are hangin out. It is finally cold so I am making the kids wear the hats, scarves, mittens, sweaters etc. that I have knit for them this year. They look like the crazy homemade kids. Like the VonTraps wearing the drapes Maria sewed for them. I am headed up the Prayer Shawl Knitting group at our church and that starts up again tonight. I will teach people to knit and have them work an hour every Wednesday night on Prayer Shawls. Which are shawls that the women of the church knit and give to other women in the church when they have lost a child, a husband or are going through Cancer or any other serious ilness. Essentially it is made and given to them so they know others are thinking and praying for them. I am looking forward to it starting up again and hoping I have a lot of students!!! Going to a dinner party on Saturday night and then just looking forward to watching football and hanging out. Happy almost birthday Chaz. I am looking into my Chicago trip this week so I need to get with Chaz and Lizzy on dates. It will be just me and Mary Rowe and we will probably leave on Friday morning and come back Sunday evening. I hope there is snow there. She has never seen it.
